What is the Every Family Counts! parent contribution program?
The Every Family Counts! parent contribution program is our annual appeal to families to help cover educational expenses for St. Martin School. Tuition covers only a portion of our per-child costs. We rely on charitable contributions to pay for expenses not covered by our tuition fees.
If the true cost of educating a child is more than the cost of tuition charged, why don’t we just increase tuition expenses?
While tuition increases are necessary, we try to keep the increases to a minimum to make the school as affordable as possible for all those who wish to attend. In order to do that, we must rely on fundraising activity and personal contributions to cover our expenses. Charitable contributions have the added benefit of being tax-deductible to the donor. Plus, many employers offer programs that match employees’ gifts to schools and other charitable organizations. If your employer offers a matching gift program, your contribution to St. Martin can double in value, offering twice the benefit to our students!
What is our financial goal for this year’s campaign?
Our financial goal for the annual campaign is $10,000. However, while raising the funds is a priority for us, our real measure of success will be having 100% of our parent population respond to this appeal with a contribution. Every dollar makes a difference, and every family counts!
I can only afford to give a very small amount. Should I still give?
PLEASE DO! Not only can we guarantee your funds will be put to good use (offering your children the best possible education we can provide) we can also say that every dollar really does help! If we all pitch in what we can, we can cover our expenses and make a real difference for our St. Martin children!
